Custom Hexagon Acoustic Panels

Build your custom panel package. Select your quantities, then generate your quote instantly.

Unlike standard flat acoustic panels, our multi-depth system features three different panel depths that work together to both absorb and deflect sound, letting your team tune the room until it sounds perfect.

Sound Absorption by Frequency

All panels use a 2" Owens Corning 703 core. Deeper panels add air cavity behind the core for improved low-frequency behavior.

2" Panel — flush mounted (NRC 1.00)
4" Panel — 2" core + 2" air cavity
6" Panel — 2" core + 4" air cavity
2" data from Owens Corning 700 Series product data sheet (ASTM C423, Type A mounting). Values above 1.00 are normal in reverberation chamber testing due to measurement effects such as edge diffraction. The 4" and 6" curves illustrate the expected improvement from adding air cavity depth — these are not independently tested for the assembled panel.

What Do the Frequencies Mean?

A plain-English guide to what each panel depth actually controls

125 – 250 Hz
Bass & Low-Mid
Room rumble, HVAC hum, bass from music systems, and crowd noise buildup. The 4" and 6" panels provide improved low-frequency control through the air cavity behind the acoustic core. The 2" panel has limited absorption in this range when flush mounted.
500 – 1000 Hz
Mid-Range
Human voice fundamentals, announcements, live speech, and musical instruments. All panel depths provide strong absorption across this range. This is where the 2" OC 703 core performs best.
2000 – 4000 Hz
High-Mid & Presence
Speech clarity, vocal projection, cymbal detail, and audio system presence. All panel depths provide strong absorption here. High-frequency control is consistent regardless of panel depth.
